Lastly, regarding STACEY ROZICH, whose horn I just want to toot today: she collaborated with others to create this breathtaking video for FLEET FOXES. If the Fleet Foxes strike you as a far cry from EARTH, stylistically, watch this video in it’s entirety. Not only is this a 7-something minute long song, but it ebbs and flows through various parts, incorporating sometimes drastic changes in feel and tempo. How “stoner-metal” is that? Maybe alt-country is transitioning as a genre? Anyways, this would be epic on a big screen, run through a PA. I intend to make this happen.
